Caramel tart

  • For Caramel Tart
  • Par baked Short Crust pastry (8inches) 1no
  • Rich’s Sweetmate 600gms
  • Egg 6nos
  • For Caramel Sauce
  • Rich’s Sweetmate 200gms
  • Butter 100gms
  • Sugar 100gms
  • Water 30ml


  • For Caramel Sauce
  • Boil water & sugar until caramel
  • Add butter & Rich’s Sweetmate, cook for 2mins
  • Remove in a separate bowl & allow it to cool
  • For Caramel Tart
  • Warm Rich’s Sweetmate and caramel Sauce.
  • Add eggs to warm mixture, stirring continuously & mix until custard consistency
  • Pour mixture into the par- baked short crust pastry and bake at 160C for 20mins
  • Take out carefully & serve
