 POSITION TITLE

 :

Product Manager -India
 REPORTS TO  : Marketing Manager - India

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and executing brand positioning, identifying and building brand equity and loyalty among customers and consumers.
  • Develop marketing programs that increase market share, identify priority customer groups/distributors/key accounts, and the right marketing mix to capture these customers
  • Forecast sales trends, competitive activity; analyze seasonality trends, predict market share
  • Responsible for brand’s P&L
  • Determine optimal price and price sensitivity of customer groups, impact of pricing strategies to sales and profitability
  • Determine brand/line extensions
  • Responsible for developing promotions to customers and consumers, above-the-line and below-the-line mix using well-established and innovative techniques
  • Determine appropriate media vehicles, such as trade shows, magazines, seminars, etc.
  • Work with tech, R&D, sales, market research to identify and develop new products, improve current products, identify functional benefits our products offers to meet current and future customer needs
  • Initiate market research studies (such as customer and consumer tracking studies, surveys,  etc)

Desire Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor Degree. Training in food science or MBA an advantage.
  • Bachelors Degree. Training in food science or MBA advantages.
  • 3-4 years experience in marketing / product management with FMCG industries.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to coach Product Executives and Marketing Assistants.
  • Culturally sensitive/interpersonal  savvy
  • Speaks and write fluent English and local language
